"The Kissing Gate" aims to bring together British and Romanian musicians to produce a dynamic blend of Modern Jazz and Balkan music. Alongside the project’s concerts Balkan music workshops will be organized to involve local artists. The media often portrays Romania's accession to the EU as a threat. Few of the cultural benefits of accession manage to come through. As a Romanian-born artist living in the UK I feel that is my job to make the benefits known. Furthermore I intend to give the public the chance of getting to know Romania better through interactive meetings. Click here fore more |
